My name is Lisa and I started RAW ROOTs in 2014 because I had a hard time finding good, natural and organic cosmetic products where you could trust the content.
After reading several ingredient lists, it dawned on me how little natural content there actually is in many skin care products, and how much chemistry we expose our skin and hair to every single day.
RAW ROOTs are pure, natural and organic hair and beauty products based on plant extracts that are extracted for their active and healing properties.
Away from dangerous chemistry and in with the plants.
As a trained hairdresser, I have a lot of knowledge about hair and scalp, as during the training you learn about the skin and the structure of the hair. After many years in the profession, I have seen how many people have skin and scalp problems, and this is often due to the products used.
I decided to take a course and learn how to make soap, shampoo and skin care from scratch, so that I could make products where you don't compromise between content and effect.
I have also taken courses in and learned a lot about plants as medicine and their function on skin and hair. When you first start working with nature's treasury, it is fantastic what herbs, flowers and plants we have that can heal almost anything, they just have to be used.
From kitchen recipes to hair and skin care
I started by mixing products in the kitchen, but this was later replaced with a pavilion, set up as a laboratory.
Friends and family (not animals, of course!) tested the homemade products, and they had no doubts about their effect and the difference from what they were otherwise used to.
So the demand quickly increased from friends and family to other interested parties, and now RAW ROOT's products are supplied to customers and dealers all over the world.
I can't do magic, but switching from commercial products to using natural, plant-based products has a big and noticeable effect, which is also reflected in the reviewers of my products.
It is fantastic to be able to help people who have had problems with their scalp or skin for many years and who, after using my products, have completely normal and problem-free skin and scalp.
When you have children, you become more aware of the chemistry in the products you use for their skin and hair care, at least I did. And there started my journey into a universe of hair and skin care products.

Ingredients that are understandable!
For me, it is important that you can see and know what the products contain. There is nothing hidden behind chemical and long names.
The ingredient lists for RAW ROOT's products are understandable to everyone, but even if the ingredients are natural, they may still have a chemical name, and if this is the case, the ingredient is subsequently described in (brackets).
To make it clear and transparent, I have gathered all the ingredients I use in the products on one page in alphabetical order, so you can easily find the ingredients - See them here.
For me, it's not about charging a high price, but helping people with their skin and hair. I would rather offer a low price so everyone can join and become happy repeat customers.
Quality and content of active ingredients
RAW ROOT's products have a high content of natural and active ingredients.
As previously mentioned, I do not compromise on quality, function and the price of the products.
All RAW ROOT's products have a high content of active substances which make the products effective and concentrated at the same time that they are mild and gentle.
For me, it's not about charging a high price, but helping people with their skin and hair. I would rather offer a low price so everyone can join and become happy repeat customers.
Everything is handmade in Denmark
All my products are handmade in small batches in one of our laboratories.
I would like to have a lot of nice certifications, but since these cost a fortune, I'd rather use the budget to develop and improve the products.
But I can guarantee that everything from RAW ROOTs is Vegan, Cruelty free (i.e. not tested on animals) and as natural and organic as possible.
